The "SUMMER SLIDE" is a very real learning loss that can happen when scholars take a long break from academic practice. Without consistent reading and math engagement, scholars can lose months of progress, including loss in their foundations skills.

Even small amounts of structured practice over the summer can make a big difference in helping scholars return in the fall confident and ready to build on what they've already worked hard to achieve.

Let us help you stay ahead of the Summer Slide this summer!

Riverside Educational Services' Summer Program is designed for incoming Kindergarten through 6th grade scholars and blends purposeful learning with the joy of summer.

Each morning, scholars will engage in both math and reading activities and practice tailored to their ability level. We meet each child where the are, helping them strengthen skills, build confidence, and stay sharp over the summer months!

Our afternoons are where summer really comes to life!

We have a different themed afternoon planned for each day of the week.

Tuesdays: STEM DAY

Scholars will dive into hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities through group challenges and creative problem-solving experiences! Join Ms. Tara for a fun afternoon on Tuesdays to design and test creations, explore real-world concepts, and think critically in both a fun and engaging way.

Wednesdays: WATER DAY

We'll explore the importance of water this summer from ecosystems to everyday life, while also enjoying some of the classics of summer! Afternoons may include, but are not limited to, water balloons, sprinkler runs, and creek adventures.

Thursdays: Art & Creativity

Afternoons on Thursdays will be dedicated to art lessons, crafts, and hands-on creative projects. Scholars will explore different materials and techniques while building confidence in their artistic expression. Join Ms. Jordyn on Thursdays!
